ArtFly

Your photos. Your words.

Privacy, in plain words.

ArtFly turns portraits and meaningful words into art. This policy explains what we use to run your account, save your work, and deliver a print you order.

Your account & Google

We use Supabase to manage ArtFly accounts, sign-in sessions, and access to your collection. Account records can include your email, account identifier, display name, sign-in provider, and authentication metadata.

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google provides basic identity information, which can include your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We use it to sign you in, identify your ArtFly account, and help you access your saved work. ArtFly requests only identity scopes: OpenID, email, and basic profile. It does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google Workspace content.

The ArtFly session saved in your browser does not include Google API access or refresh tokens. Google and Supabase still process the information needed for authentication. ArtFly’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. ArtFly does not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

Your portraits

When you create a portrait on the website, your reference photo, message, phrases, and settings are sent to private account storage and an authorized ArtFly rendering service. The service reads those inputs to produce your artwork and saves its preview and exports to your account. Creation may be temporarily unavailable. Work created in the separate local studio is saved on that computer until you upload it.

When you choose to save a portrait to your ArtFly account, or prepare a print for your account, we store its reference photo, preview, SVG, PDF, PNG, title, and file information in Supabase. The files and account collection are private by default and protected by account access controls. Authorized service operators and processors may access data as needed to operate, support, and secure ArtFly.

Artwork can contain personal information in a photo or phrase. Include only information you are comfortable storing or sharing for the action you choose.

Print orders

For a print order, we collect the recipient’s name, contact email, shipping address, and any optional delivery phone number you provide. We also keep the selected artwork version, product, quantity, price, payment status, and order identifiers needed to track and fulfill the purchase.

Your account email, including one supplied by Google, may prefill the delivery form. You can review the contact details before submitting them. The delivery details you submit go to Stripe for checkout and to Prodigi and delivery carriers for printing and shipping. The approved print file is made available to the print supplier for that order.

Payment details are entered in Stripe’s hosted checkout. ArtFly’s application does not receive or store your full card number. Stripe processes payment information and returns payment and checkout records to ArtFly.

Browser storage & logs

ArtFly uses browser storage to keep your Supabase session, saved cart or preferences, and checkout retry information. Google sign-in also uses temporary session storage to complete its secure return to the same browser tab. Signing out removes the saved ArtFly account session from browser storage; it does not delete your account or saved artwork.

ArtFly and its hosting providers process operational information such as request time, IP address, browser information, authentication events, and errors to deliver the service, diagnose problems, and prevent misuse. The current ArtFly pages do not include a third party advertising or analytics SDK. Stripe and Google may use their own cookies or storage on their pages.

Who processes data

  • Cloudflare hosts and delivers the public website.
  • Supabase provides authentication, account data, private file storage, and server functions. Authorized ArtFly rendering services process private photos and phrases to create and check artwork.
  • Google provides identity authentication when you choose Google sign-in.
  • Stripe handles checkout, payment processing, and related tax calculations.
  • Prodigi and delivery carriers receive the print file and delivery information needed to make and ship an order.

We share information with these providers for the functions described here. ArtFly does not sell your Google identity information or use it for advertising. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect people, accounts, or the service.

Public sharing is a choice

Saving work to your account does not publish it. The community feed shows artwork previews that creators explicitly publish. You can save a public portrait to your own saved list or report a concern. General purchases of other creators’ work and creator royalty payments are not yet open.

If you publish a portrait, its chosen preview, title, caption, and creator display name become public. Permission for others to purchase prints is a separate choice, and granting it does not activate checkout. Your original reference photo and master exports remain private. Public content can be copied or downloaded by others; removing a publication cannot recall existing copies or completed prints. Previously issued preview links can continue to work for up to 15 minutes after unpublishing.

Keeping & deleting data

We keep account information and saved work to provide your collection, and order records to support payments, delivery, security, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. ArtFly does not currently apply a single automatic deletion period to every type of data.

The Account menu lets you export your account records and request account deletion. Photo and artwork downloads are separate and available in My portraits when your account has access to those exports. Deletion requires a recent sign-in. An eligible account’s private files are removed and its web membership is cancelled. Accounts with financial or payout records are disabled and their publications hidden while support reviews the records needed to finish deletion. Some transaction, fraud prevention, or legal records may need to be retained, and an order already sent for production may still require its print and delivery information. Copies you or others downloaded and records held independently by service providers are handled separately.

Removing a file from your computer or signing out does not remove a copy previously saved to your ArtFly account.

Your choices & contact

You choose whether to sign in with Google, save local work to an account, submit delivery information, or publish through an available control. You can revoke ArtFly’s Google connection in your Google account settings; this does not by itself delete the ArtFly account.

For access, corrections, deletion, or a privacy question, email dropflyai@gmail.com. Tell us the account or order involved, but do not send passwords, card numbers, or API keys. We will review requests under the rights and obligations that apply to them.

We will update this page as ArtFly’s data practices change. The date above identifies the current version. See the Terms of use for artwork and order details.
